Prabhuji Bhagavan, my Beloved Deity

Just hold me tight and don't let me go anywhere For there's nothing like the softness of your hands And the tenderness in your eyes Whenever I shake and begin to fall Hold me close to your heart and let me feel your scent By that I will quickly remember how to stand upright When I slip and begin to fail With your eagle eyes you hold me tight With your lion voice you make me strong When I break and start to decay Your touch will make me whole again And the image of Your Feet will restore me Whenever I'm weak to persevere Make your words like fire in me Courageous to spread and sing your glory Just hold me tight and don't let me go anywhere I gave myself to you and i should not have requests But that one please consider at last

The Lord of the universe acts out of mercy Even though I can't control my senses And my thoughts still dont taste a drop of Bhakti He still longs for my prayers Even though hipocrisy is deep rooted in me Gratitude is superficial and dry And my heart's desires are so often unheard and ignored He still longs for my service Mercy and Glory are His Name My Gurudev, for some reason I don't understand He can’t give up on me And His Eyes turn in my direction From His Feet all Glory of God flows From His Hands all benedictions are given He allowed me be a servant And there's no words to express His Greatness
